Am I a W-2 employee or a 1099 contractor?
1099 independent contractor. You set your availability, your radius, your minimum. We match jobs; you decide whether to take them.
Do I have to work exclusively with OneTap?
No. You set your own schedule. Mark the days and hours you're available, and we'll only route jobs during those windows. Most of our pros run their own book alongside OneTap.
How are prices set? Can I negotiate?
Alex proposes a TrueRate™ based on market data and job complexity. You can accept or pass. Customers see the same rate before you accept, so there's no bait-and-switch on either side.
What if a customer disputes a job?
We have a human operator team in Nashville. Disputes get a live person inside one business day, not a ticket queue.
I'm not in Nashville. Can I still apply?
